The Fed will release its "Beige Book" survey of regional Fed activity at 2 p.m.

The beige book is a compendium of anecdotes about business activity in the Fed's 12 districts nationwide.

It's possible we could see some descriptions of weaknesses in housing and manufacturing, given recent flagging data on both.
