Here Comes Initial Jobless Claims...

That latest weekly initial jobless claim report is expected at 8:30 am EST, with economists expecting claims to total 314,000, slightly lower than the 317,000 reported last week.

Last week's 317,000 jobless claims was higher than the revised 313,000 reported two weeks ago.

Continuing claims are expected to fall slightly to 2,600,000 from 2,614,000 last week.
