HERE COMES INITIAL JOBLESS CLAIMS...
Economists estimate that claims climbed to 315,000, up from 305,000 a week ago.
Economists will also be paying close attention to any revisions to previous data.
"It looks like the trend in the claims data has been improving lately away from the recent distortions, but considering how low claims got during the week ending September 21 relative to the earlier periods of the expansion, we look for an increase in the upcoming report," said JP Morgan's Michael Feroli. "It is also possible there will be some payback in the data from claims that could not be filed during the weeks that had the reporting issues."
