The Fed releases its industrial production reading for November at 9:15 a.m.

Consensus is for an increase 0f 0.6%, from a decline of 0.1% prior.

Capacity utilization will also print. Consensus is for 78.4%, versus 78.1% prior.

We've been on a mostly upward trend since reaching a post-recession low in May.

The industrial sector accounts for less than 20% of GDP, yet creates much of the cyclical variability in the economy.
