The National Association of Homebuilders (NAHB) will release its housing market index for June at 10 a.m. ET.
Economists estimate that the gauge of homebuilder sentiment rose a blip to 59 from 58, according to Bloomberg.
To compile the index, the NAHB surveys its members for how they rate the current sale of new homes, as well as their outlook for sales and buyer traffic.
In May, the sentiment index held steady for a fourth straight month at 58, even as the NAHB anticipated that the spring buying season should boost activity.
