Economists predict total orders advanced 1.8% last month after falling 1.6% in October, while orders excluding transportation are expected to post a 0.7% gain, marking an acceleration from October's 0.4% pace of growth.
Orders of nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft (a.k.a. "core capex") are forecast to have risen 0.7% in November, marking a turnaround from October's 0.6% decline, while shipments of nondefense capital goods excluding aircraft are expected to have risen 0.3% last month after retreating 0.1% the month before.
