Heads up! Minutes away from the release of preliminary results from the University of Michigan's July consumer confidence survey, due out at 9:55 AM ET.

Economists predict the headline confidence index will advance to 84.7 in July from 84.1 in June.

An 84.7 reading would lift consumer confidence above the five-year high of 84.5 registered in May.
