Here Comes Consumer Confidence...

The Conference Board's consumer confidence for May is out at 10:00 a.m ET.

Economists polled by Bloomberg are looking for the index to rise to 83, up from 82.3 in April.

Consumer spending accounts for about 40% of the economy and investors watch this to gauge how the economy is holding up.
