Chinese inflation data for January is out at 8:30 p.m. ET.

Economists polled by Bloomberg are looking for consumer prices to rise 2.4% on the year, compared with a 2.5% rise the previous month.

Meanwhile, producer prices are expected to fall 1.6% on the month, compared with a 1.4% fall the previous month.

Adam Steinberg at Barclays expects that lower food inflation should help consumer prices moderate.
He also thinks weakening global commodity prices will make producer prices fall.
