Here come services PMIs ...
Most economic activity and job creation happens in the services sector, although much of the political rhetoric on both tends to revolve around manufacturing.
Economists estimate that Markit's services purchasing manager's index (PMI), first up at 9:45 a.m. ET, was 54.8 in November. In the preliminary report, some companies told Markit that clients were more willing to spend post-election, since a lot of the uncertainty had lifted.
ISM's non-manufacturing PMI is forecast at 55.5 when it's released at 10 a.m., improved from 54.8 in October. Index readings above 50 would show that the services sector continued to expand.
