"You gonna buy this thing or what?"

US automakers are set to release their sales results for July all day on Monday.

Economists are expecting sales to rise to an annualized pace of 17.2 million vehicles, a slight uptick from June's 17.11 million vehicle pace.

Among the major US automakers, Ford sales are expected to rise 1.8%, GM sales are expected to tick up 0.6%, and Fiat Chrysler sales are expected to rise 4.8%.

According to analysts at JPMorgan, a July sales figure of a seasonally adjusted pace over 17 million vehicles would mark the first 3-month stretch of auto sales at this quick of a pace since August to October 2000.

Keep it here, as this post will be updated all days as the numbers roll in.
