Angela Ahrendts joins Airbnb's board of directors

Airbnb announced in a blog post that Angela Ahrendts has joined the company's board as the third independent non-affiliated board member, joining Ken Chenault and Ann Mather.Ahrendts recently left Apple where she was head of retail and became one of the most highly paid executives at the company.

Steven Temares steps down as CEO of Bed Bath & Beyond

Bed Bath & Beyond announced that Steven Temares has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer and resigned from the board. A group of activist investors released a brutal presentation in late April slamming Bed Bath & Beyond's leadership for everything from executive compensation to clutter in stores. Mary Winston, a seasoned public company executive who recently joined the Bed Bath & Beyond Board of Directors, has been appointed Interim Chief Executive Officer, effective immediately.

Impossible Foods hires Sheetal Shah as SVP of Product and Operations

Impossible Foods announced the hiring of tech industry veteran Sheetal Shah as Senior Vice President of Product and Operations. The company makes meat from plants - with a much smaller environmental footprint than meat from animals. Burger King recently announced the nationwide roll-out of the "Impossible Whopper" which makes it the first meat replacement patty to roll out with one of the largest fast food chains. Shah was previously Chief Operations Officer at Verifone, where he oversaw global operations including supply chain, customer care, quality and program management for customers in more than 150 countries.

Lockheed Martin names new SVP of Communications

Lockheed Martin, the global security and aerospace company, has appointed Dean Acosta as Senior Vice President of Communications. Acosta was most recently Chief Communications Officer for Resideo, a smart home technology company, where he led employee and executive communications, media relations, social media and public affairs.

UST Global names Krishna Sudheendra as CEO

UST Global, a leading multinational digital and tech services firm, has announced that Krishna Sudheendra, the company's former President & CFO, has been named CEO. Sajan Pillai is retiring as CEO but will stay on the Board of Directors for the next year in support of a successful transition. The company became a unicorn last year when it raised $250 million from Temasek, Singapore's sovereign wealth fund. The leadership transition could indicate that UST Global could be gearing up for an IPO in the near future.
