Chyna, who was born on December 27, 1970, in Rochester, New York, was a founding member of the hugely-popular wrestling faction "D-Generation X" and rose to fame in the late 1990s.

Before holding multiple WWE belts as the "9th Wonder of the World," she studied Spanish literature at the University of Tampa, worked a number of jobs from waitressing to singing, and joined the Peace Corps in Guatemala.

The 5-foot, 10-inch tall wrestling star who weighed 180 pounds left the WWE in 2001 and became a reality TV and entertainment star. WWE described her as a "true sports-entertainment pioneer" in a recent statement.

Following Chyna's death, we take a look back at her career in pictures.
