HCL Technologies’ revenue growth likely to remain tepid for Q1
Smallbusiness1 min read
IT major HCL Technologies asserts that its results for the quarter ending on September 30, 2015 (Q1) may get affected owing to factors like as adverse currency impact and skewness in revenue growth.

As per the company's release filed with the BSE, the revenue growth is likely to be tepid for the quarter ending September 30, 2015 on account of the following reasons:
1. Adverse currency impact
2. A client specific issue as described below
3. Skewness in revenue growth due to transition timelines for complex engagements particularly in infrastructure services

Owing to steep depreciation of multiple currencies against the US dollar, revenues to be reported in USD have an adverse impact of 80 bps, a statement issued by HCL Technologies revealed.

The Noida-headquartered technology firm will announce its earning for Q1 (July-September period) in the fourth week of October 2015.
