Guess what? Audi R8 V10 Plus launched in India!

The Audi R8 V10 Plus was launched in India today at the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo at a price of 2.47 Crores (ex-showroom, Delhi). Cricketer Virat Kohli and Bollywood star Alia Bhatt launched the sports car today.

The new Audi R8 comes with a single-frame front grille with a honeycomb pattern, flanked by standard flat LED head-lights or optional laser lighting clusters. The side gets curved contours and a prominent shoulder line interconnecting the wheels. The Plus also gets a carbon fibre-reinforced plastic (CFRP) fixed rear wing.

Under the hood of the Audi R8 V10 Plus is the 5.2-litre V10 engine that churns out 610 BHP of Power. The car can pull off 0-100 kmph in a mere 3.2 seconds! Its top speed is 330 kmph. The engine is mated to a 7-speed S-tronic gearbox with three automatic modes and optional manual control. It also has a permanent quattro all-wheel drive (AWD) system.

Step into the Audi R8 V10 Plus, and you’ll see the new bucket seats and an uncluttered cockpit. Several of the older buttons and knobs have been replaced by the configurable 12.3-inch Audi virtual cockpit.

Customers can also choose between Alcantara/Pearl Nappa leather and fine Nappa leather upholstery. One can also add clear-coated carbon fibre accents. There is also an optional 500-Watt Bang & Olufsen music system and an Audi phone box.
