The government is redesigning a webpage for Swachh Bharat on its MyGov website. This would allow citizens to upload their ‘work on cleanliness’ on this portal. This comes after the government realized that people are posting pictures of their Swachh Bharat activities on social media.

The government also plans to reward the most prolific performers to motivate more people to keep their surroundings clean.

Citizens will be encouraged to share their work on MyGov page. The MyGov Swachh Bharat page enables citizens to take the Clean India pledge, upload ‘before’, ‘after’ pictures and ‘activity videos’.

The top performing participant on Swachh Bharat so far as per MyGov has been the NeuroScience Research Lab, Chandigarh, which last month invited ministers Smriti Irani and Upendra Kushwaha and education secretary VS Oberoi to take up the Swachh Bharat challenge.
