The sales on Day 1 of GOSF weren’t as great as Google and e-tailers were expecting. They hoped some magic to happen on Day 2, but were they right? Well, the data that we received from two of the leading coupons & cashback websites, cashkaro.com and pennyful.in, suggests something else.

While cashkaro.com suggests a dip in the average order value on GOSF-Day 2, pennyful.in reveals that the number of transactions happening at Flipkart, the non-participant GOSF player, has increased two-folds in the last two days. To get a glimpse of more such interesting facts, please see below:

· Web traffic: According to cashkaro.com, web traffic increased by 500% as against the 400% in comparison to normal days, however, the revenues increase percentage remains the same at 350%.

· Average order value: Pennyful.in data says that average order value on GOSF Day 1 and Day 2 had been Rs 4,500 as against the average order value of Rs 3,000 on normal days. And cashkaro.com data suggests that the average order value on Day 2 has decreased to Rs 3,300; yesterday, the average order value stood at Rs 3,500.
