Google’s Sundar Pichai says he can’t wait to meet PM Modi!

The excitement to have Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the Silicon Valley is evident, especially at the Google office.
Ahead of Modi’s visit, Google’s new CEO Sundar Pichai welcomed him and said Googlers are excited and honoured to host Modi, who will be there over the weekend.
"It is an honour to welcome PM Narendra Modi to Silicon Valley this weekend. I hope PM Modi's visit will energise people in the Silicon Valley,” said Pichai.
Pichai, in his video address to Modi, spoke about the bond between India and the Silicon Valley, adding that India was the exporter of talent to tech companies.
"Products built by Indian graduates from IIT & other institutes have revolutionised the world," Pichai added.
Google new CEO also lauded Modi’s Digital India initiative and said it will connect more people.
Pichai said, “Digital India initiative is centric to revolution & has tremendous support from India and the Silicon Valley. Google will look to play a part in Digital India.”
During his Silicon Valley tour, Modi will meet leaders of some of the top companies of the world and business honchos.
Experts hope that his trip will also give a new boost to Silicon Valley of India, Bengaluru, which has become India’s hub for startups.
