It'll be available in time for the holidays starting at $499 for the tablet and $149 for the keyboard.
There are 308 pixels per inch in the device's screen, which means it has a resolution of 2560 x 1800.
The keyboard attaches to the back of the tablet securely, so you can use the device as a tablet while still keeping the keyboard nearby. When you close the tablet and keyboard, the tablet automatically charges the keyboard.
Like Google's Chromebook Pixel, there's a light bar on the back. You can double tap this light bar to check the battery status of the device. There are also four microphones in the tablet, which means you should be able to perform voice searches and use features like Google Now from across the room.
Google hasn't revealed much else about the new tablet, but we're expecting to hear more in the coming months.
