Google CEO Sundar Pichai’s IIT Kharagpur visit was lot more than what meets the eye

Sundar Pichai of Google welcomed the New Year in India with his family in India. Pichai was in India on the 23rd of January and took a trip with his family to Jaipur in Rajasthan. One of the main reasons for Pichai’s visit to India apart from a family holiday was also to visit his Alma Mater IIT Kharagpur where he graduated from in 1993.

So after the Google event in New Delhi where Google announced the Digital Unlocked initiative for small businesses, Pichai headed to IIT Kharagpur the next day on the 5th of January to address the students at the engineering college. But before that he made sure his trip back to college after 23 long years was well worth the wait. The last time Pichai was to visit the engineering college had to be cancelled, and the whole world found out the reason later, Pichai was named the CEO of Google.
