These range from fitness supplements and a range of slimming and weight loss products like Vitalex, fat burning hormones, Homeopathic HCG, weight loss coffee and herbal viagra, all of which aren’t approved by the US food and drug regulators. Some of products also contain ephedra, which is linked to heart attacks and has proven to be harmful.
According to a recent update in Google app developer policy, several restrictions have been introduced, as part of an ongoing effort by the tech giant to control spam and illegal apps, Android Police reported.
It is also reportedly added clarifications to what constitutes inappropriate content on its apps, including bullying and harassment, and seeking profit from a tragedy.
It also recently removed as many as 22 apps that were spamming or gathering data illegally, for fraudulent ads.
