Dr. Gary Shilling, president of A. Gary Shilling & Co., spoke to Business Insider CEO Henry Blodget about comments he's made about how inflation statistics are boosted by owner-equivalent rent. He notes that inflation is much lower if you remove that measure from the calculation.
