The wait is over: The Season 6 Trailer of Game of Thrones will make you wish April came soon enough
It’s finally here.
You can now say goodbye to all the nights spent awake wondering whether Jon Snow is dead or still alive, being taunted by pictures and stills of the Season 6’s shoot here and there and the numerous unanswered questions piling up in your brain.
HBO has just released the trailer for Season 6 of Game of Thrones- the show you can’t get enough of and while it might not give you all the answers you’re looking for, but hey it’ll atleast make wish for a time-machine- so that you can make April come sooner!
So, let’s get down to it- what does the trailer reveal? In true GOT tradition of giving away very little, it really reveals very little.
Business Insider brings to you the highlights-
The first question is obviously- will we have to come in terms with Jon Snow’s death?
Is Jon Snow really dead?
Season 5 ended on the worst cliff-hanger for fans- which was Jon being stabbed. Well, it would be natural to assume that we would have to come in terms with the death of the youngest Commander of the Night’s Watch as the trailer shows Jon’s body laid out in a room, while Ser Davos guards over it.
But wait a second- there could also be a twist. In the trailer, we also see Melisandre placing her hand over Jon’s forehead. Could that mean she will be bringing him back to life? Well, let’s keep our fingers crossed.
Will Cersei and Jamie Lannister get back together?
A passionate embrace between the incestuous brother-sister pair had got us thinking about the possibilities. Plus, Jamie even promises Cersei that they will take back everything that was taken from them.
On the other hand, Cersei continues being her firebrand self proving that she is a force to reckon with.
In a face-off with the militant Sparrows’ Lancel Lannister, she is asked to “stand aside, or there will be violence”. Cersei coolly says, “I choose violence”.
Some other things the trailer helps us deduce
Daenerys is right where we left her, in the captivity of what looks to be a Dothraki horde. By the looks of it, Arya is being pursued by someone. Theon and Sansa are on the run after escaping from Ramsay Bolton and Bran coming face to face with the Night King of the white walkers.
And, also some much need advice from Tyrion Lannister himself.“We are in the great game now,” he says. “And the great game is terrifying.”
We couldn’t agree more!
