The Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh held its first Arunachal Pradesh Tourism Conclave 2017 in New Delhi last week where Home Minister Kiren Rijiju and the Tourism Secretary Joram Beda assured of all safety. Moreover Arunachal, being India’s border to China, is highly secured. The society being matriarchal is extremely safe for women.

In an exclusive chat with Business Insider, the tourism secretary, Jerom Beda said, “People needn’t worry about food if they are vegetarian. If you love Sarson Saag (mustard leaves) and Palak (spinach), know that we have 200 odd variety of saag to choose from.” Also he assured the foodies of zero disappointment.

Promoting the tourism destination as major adventure hub, Beda said, they have signed Memorandum of Understanding with four key partners to work together to promote tourism and attract tourists.
