Former NBA All-Star Accused Of Squatting In A Home For More Than A Year

Jeff Gross/Getty ImagesChris Gatling, a former NBA All-Star, has been accused of allegedly squatting in a home in Arizona from July of 2010 to August of 2011, according to azcentral.com.

Gatling allegedly broke into a key box and starting living in the home. The homeowners, who lived in California at the time had left the electricity on.

The ex-NBA player also allegedly tried to list the home on Craigslist for rent for $800 a month and listed it as an "Ex-NBA home."

Gatling played in the NBA for 12 seasons, made the All-Star team in 1997, and reportedly made close to $30 million.

Michael Alarid, Gatling's attorney says the entire situation was a misunderstanding.
