President Ram Nath Kovind is going to administer the oath of office and secrecy to the Prime Minister along with other members of the Union Council at Rashtrapati Bhavan in New Delhi in the presence of international and national dignitaries.

External Affairs Ministry spokesperson Raveesh Kumar said the ceremony will also be attended by Bangladeshi President Abdul Hamid, Sri Lankan President Maithripala Sirisena, Myanmar President U Win Myint, Nepal’s Prime Minister K.P. Sharma Oli and Bhutan’s Prime Minister Lotay Tshering.
Thailand will be represented by its Special Enovy Grisada Boonrach.
According to media reports, PM Narendra Modi is likely to hold bilateral meetings with several international leaders on the following day.
India has also invited the IMF Managing Director and Chairman Christine Lagarde, sources told IANS.
