According to Korman, AKA's residents often include media types and actors filming on location for multiple weeks, who enjoy the privacy of a condo setting. The company's long roster of celebrity clients includes Al Pacino and Richard Gere, who often come for months at a time. "We thought most of our business would come from Fortune 500 companies, but studios, directors, actors, and producers were the ones that saved us," Korman said.

The one-bedroom suite also includes spacious living areas with white oak hardwood floors. In the one-bedroom premium suite, guests can use room-darkening window shades and floor-to-ceiling daylight curtains to make their stay even more relaxing.

AKA's business model rewards long-term residents with lower rates. After a stay of 180 nights, all taxes will be credited back to the resident. AKA also has an online manager who can make any reservations or arrangements before your arrival, so that you can relax once you get in.
