Team Europe was very happy with its 7-3 win. Wall Street's Appel said: "They played exceptionally well on the grass courts. The British and Irish guys grew up on them and seemed quite natural on them. When we play again next year in the states we will be back on a "normal " surface for sure, either in NY or Miami."
