13 (50). University of Edinburgh Business School — Ranking as the 50th best business school in Europe, according to the FT, Edinburgh University's business school has around 1,400 students. It has ties to some of the world's top-rated institutions, including the University of Chicago's Kellogg School of Management.
12 (49). Durham University Business School — In the pantheon of British universities, Durham often ranks just below the likes of Oxford and Cambridge as one of the country's most prestigious. MBA graduates from the university's business school earn an average of $98,029 three years after graduation.
11 (48). Lancaster University Management School — Sat on a hill close to the M6 motorway, Lancaster's business school climbs from being the 53rd best in Europe last year, to 48th in 2016.
10 (39). Alliance Manchester Business School — Unchanged in position from last year, the University of Manchester's business school is the best in northern England, according to the FT's ranking.
9 (37). Henley Business School — Henley Business School is a constituent part of the University of Reading, with one campus in the city, and one in the town of Henley, famous for its regatta. Founded in 1945, it claims to be the "first business school to be established in the UK."
8 (34). University of Strathclyde Business School — Strathclyde may not be well-known among the general public, but its business school is highly respected. It slipped a little in this year's FT ranking, falling from Europe's 31st best school, to its 34th.
7 (30). Cranfield School of Management — Part of the postgraduate only Cranfield University, Cranfield School of Management boasts alumni including Rolls-Royce CEO Warren East and Barclays chairman John McFarlane. It slips from 21st to 30th on the FT's Europe-wide ranking this year.
6 (26). Cass Business School, City, University of London — Located in the heart of the City of London, Cass — named for famed 17th-century merchant and philanthropist Sir John Cass — consistently ranks as one of the world's top business schools.
5 (22). Warwick Business School — The educator of the Bank of England's chief economist Andy Haldane, Warwick Business School drops from Europe's 19th best in 2015, to 22nd this year.
4 (16). Imperial College Business School — Imperial, one of London's finest universities, is better known for its scientific and mathematics-based courses, but it has a top business school. Imperial alumni include the former CEOs of major companies like Singapore Airlines and Rolls Royce.
3 (13). Judge Business School, University of Cambridge — Consistently ranked as one of the top 3 universities in the world, Cambridge is better known for teaching the sciences and educating prime ministers. Its business school, named for benefactor Sir Paul Judge, is also world class however.
2 (11). Said Business School, University of Oxford — Oxford is synonymous with Britain's top politicians and captains of industry. Its alumni include the famed Winklevoss Twins, who sued Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg, claiming he stole the idea from them while they were at Harvard together.
1 (1). London Business School — Not only the best business school in the UK, but also in Europe, LBS teaches nothing but business and finance degrees. Alumni of the school — located in the Regent's Park area of the city — include Brexit Secretary David Davis.
