Meet the 15 members of the $100 billion club — who are jointly worth more than Google

Most are founders and either current or former CEOs, and <a target="_blank" class href="https://markets.businessinsider.com/news/stocks/warren-buffett-berkshire-hathaway-elon-musk-tesla-stock-wealth-philanthropy-2022-1">some like Warren Buffett</a> would be much richer if they didn't give billions to charity.</p><p>There may only be 15 centibillionaires, but their combined wealth exceeds $2.2 trillion, per the <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.bloomberg.com/billionaires/">Bloomberg Billionaires Index</a>. That's more than Google-parent Alphabet's $2 trillion market capitalization.</p><p>All but one of them have grown richer this year, adding a combined $360 billion or so to their personal fortunes. Bank of America ($305 billion), Coca-Cola ($298 billion), and Netflix ($289 billion) are all worth less than that.</p><p>The exclusive group is poised to expand soon. Three members of the Walton family are <a target="_blank" class href="https://www.businessinsider.com/walton-family-wealth-walmart-record-stock-billionaires-retail-rich-list-2024-8">sitting on $92 billion-plus fortunes</a> after each grew at least $22 billion richer this year.</p><p>Here's the list of individuals worth at least $100 billion, showing Bloomberg's estimate of their net worth at the time of publication, how much it's changed this calendar year, and the source of their wealth.</p>
