Amancio Ortega is the second-richest man in the world, with a net worth estimated at $66.8 billion. He was born in the town of Busdongo de Arbas, Spain, in March 1936.
In August 2013, his ex-wife and Zara cofounder, Rosalia Mera, died at 69. She was Spain's richest woman. Ortega and Mera married in 1966, and were divorced in 1986.
