Inside London's most exclusive neighbourhood where actors, fashion designers, and artists live

This is where Regent's Park is in London.

It is one of the capital's Royal Parks in which the state is responsible for "managing and preserving over 5,000 acres of historic parkland across London." Each park is incredibly beautiful and each are home to different types of wildlife.

But Regent's Park is also home to the London Zoo, which has been open since 1847.

The US ambassador also lives in the grounds of Regent's Park, in Winfield House, which has the second largest private garden in the central London after Buckingham Palace.

It is also home to several historic streets, where properties can cost tens of millions of pounds. One of these is Hanover Terrace, which was designed by the celebrated architect John Nash in 1822.

It has direct views over the whole park.

Homes there have sold for up to £34 million. Knight Frank says that "in last two years over 75% of buyers in the local area were aged 40-59."

Artist Damien Hirst lives in the terrace.

This is Cornwall Terrace, said to be Britain's most expensive terrace. It was also designed by John Nash.

Cornwall Terrace also enjoys views over the park itself.

As you can tell from the inside of a typical property on Cornwall Terrace, the decor is modern and palatial.

It boasts enormous bedrooms that are larger than the average flat for a Londoner.

Residents also enjoy a swimming pool that resemble those you see in luxury hotels.

The street is also home to the most expensive property in the UK — One Cornwall Terrace.

It sold in 2013 for a record-breaking £80 million.

It was purchased by property trader Marcus Cooper.

Spread over 21,500 sq ft, it has seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms.

And it cost 500 times the price of the average UK property.

Regent's Park locals include fashion designer Stefano Gabbana, who has bought a home on Regent’s Park Road.

Comedian Sasha Baron Cohen has bought a home in Chester Terrace.

And globally famous designer Tom Ford owns a home in York Terrace.
