Bentley is going to build 7 special edition cars inspired by Breitling's flying team
Each of the 7 cars corresponds to a jet from the Breitling Jet Team. Here, they mimic a formation practiced by the world famous acrobatic flying team.
The cars may not reach 565 miles per hour like their Czech jet counterparts, they're still plenty impressive.
A standard Bentley Continental GT Speed features a V12 engine capable of 626 horsepower. The special edition cars will have the same powerful engine.
Yellow interior stitching is meant to mimic the cockpit of a Breitling Jet Team aircraft, and the headrests carry the number of the corresponding plane.
From this angle, the car looks less like a speedy jet and more like a comfortable ride, but that doesn't deter us at all.
In case a buyer forgets how rare their special edition Bentley is, the foot plate can remind them.
This isn't Bentley's first cooperative project with Breitling. This Bentley-branded Breitling watch was crafted in 2011.
Each Continental GT Speed special edition is meant to be fully customizable by the buyer, to make it one-of-a-kind, instead of one-out-of-7.
Standard GT Speed's start at $234,000, but you can expect this one to be substantially more expensive.
