Banks in India follow the guidelines issued by the Reserve Bank of India. Banks remain shut on the second and fourth Saturday of all months. In addition, Sundays are weekend holidays. In 2021 January, there are some festivals and also a national holiday on account of Republic Day. Some holidays are applicable throughout the country while some are local holidays in some states.
