Finally! The Movie After The Popular Game Need For Speed Is Coming In March 2014

Many of us grew up playing this game on the PC and consoles. There were major tournaments held around the globe to find the fastest racers on different Need For Speed race tracks. Ever since we laid our hands on Need For Speed II SE (Special Edition) back in the late nineties, we wondered when will one get to see a movie made on this game series.

There have been numerous other movies like Battleship, Resident Evil and Max Payne, which were adaptation of the games, and now joining the list is Need For Speed. The Movie comes from the banner of Touchstone Pictures and is directed by Scott Waugh. It has lesser known cast as the main actors lead by actor Aaron Paul. However, looking at the first trailers of the movie, the film seems like an action packed thriller.

IMDB synopsis suggests this about the movie – “Fresh from prison, a street racer who was framed by a wealthy business associate joins a cross country race with revenge in mind. His ex-partner, learning of the plan, places a massive bounty on his head as the race begins.”

This flick will be out in March 2014 and we for one cannot wait to catch it in theatres. Here is the trailer of the movie.
