Filmfare awards, one of the oldest film events in India, are esteemed for their credibility and are considered equivalent to The Oscars in Bollywood. This year, the best movies, performances, music, art and other aspects of film making would be taking the black beauties home for the 61st time, and the competition could not have been tougher.

The list of nominations for the 61st Filmfare Awards is out, as an expert panel and general public both would decide to honor the best of Indian cinema for entertaining the world and keeping the spirit of Hindi cinema alive.
