Fiat's new 124 Spider brings old-school Italian driving pleasure to America

This week, Fiat unveiled the company's new 124 Spider at the 2015 LA Auto Show. As a company with a great history of making small, fun-to-drive cars, it's only natural for Fiat to offer customers a dynamic, rear-wheel-drive roadster.

The introduction of the Fiat 124 Spider comes just in time to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the debut of the original 124 Spider.

"There's no better way to celebrate 50 years of the Fiat 124 Spider than to bring back this iconic roadster, pairing its Italian styling of the past with all of the modern performance and technology of today," Fiat brand chief Olivier François said in a statement. "The 124 Spider expands the FIAT family, bringing to market yet another head-turning, fun-to-drive vehicle for our customers."
