Fb launches tools to help small businesses go global

On Friday, Social networking giant, Facebook stated that it has launched a set of new tools to help local business go global.

So as to reach the customers in new countries, a new feature in the look alike audience tool can be used by the businesses and can be done by uploading a list of existing costumers or high-potential leads.

Businesses who want their apps to be downloaded more frequently; increased usage of apps; or the increment of on-site conversations can now target customers worldwide or in a specific region. The ads will be delivered in the specific regions by the Facebook and optimization of delivery to the countries with better return will be then done by Facebook.

In India, around 41% of people that use Facebook are connected to at least one small and medium s small and medium sized business in a foreign country. The top five markets are the US, UK, Pakistan, Canada and UAE.

According to Facebook, more than 175 million from around the world are in contact with a business in India. It also said that, 1 billion plus people on Facebook are connected to a business in another country and so as to help businesses optimize global campaign strategy, new webinars and a handbook on international marketing techniques will be released by them.
