The United States beat New Zealand 2-0 in their opening match of the Rio Olympics, but the contest was most notable for some mocking chants by the fans in attendance.

Each time American goalkeeper Hope Solo touched the ball, the crowd booed. That was quickly followed by a loud chant of "Zika!"

You can hear the chant here:

The chant appears to be in response to an Instagram photo posted by Solo a week prior to the Olympics.

In that photo, Solo is wearing a net over her head and holding a bottle of insect repellent. The photo included the caption, "Not sharing this!!! Get your own! #zikaproof #RoadToRio."

Of course, the Zika virus has been a big concern of the athletes and tourists visiting Brazil. But the issue has been a problem for the Brazilians much longer and it seems like they don't care too much for the problem being mocked.
