Facebook now says up to 87 million users may have had their data leaked to Cambridge Analytica

The number of Facebook users whose data was illegitimately leaked to data research firm Cambridge Analytica was potentially up to 87 million, the company said on Wednesday.

That's much bigger than the company's original estimate; previously, it said up to 50 million users might have been affected by the data leak.
