Facebook India appoints ex-Google executive Pulkit Trivedi

Pulkit Trivedi has been appointed as an industry director for e-commerce, retail, travel and financial services verticals, to lead building and maintaining of strategic relationships with clients in India by Facebook.

Prior to this, Trivedi was the Head of Industry, e-commerce for Google India since April 2012. In the past he has worked with Microsoft, IBM and HCL.

Pulkit is a well proven business professional who along with our teams will strengthen our ability to deliver personalized marketing at scale to clients in India.” Umang Bedi, Managing Director, Facebook India, told ET.

Trivedi is an MBA from BITS Mesra and was featured in the “Hottest Young Business Leaders under 40” in India list by Business Today in 2015.
