An explosive device was found early Wednesday morning at Bill and Hillary Clinton's home in Chappaqua, New York, sources told NY1.

  • The incident comes two days after a similar device was found at billionaire Democrat donor George Soros' home in the nearby town of Bedford.

An explosive device was intercepted at Bill and Hillary Clinton's Chappaqua, New York home early Wednesday morning, according to local reports.

Senior law enforcement sources told NY1 that the suspicious package was discovered at the former president's residence around 1 a.m. local time.

The New York Times reports that a technician who screens mail for the Clintons discovered the device.

The Secret Service, FBI, and local police are investigating.

The incident comes two days after a similar device was sent to the home of billionaire Democratic donor George Soros, in the nearby town of Bedford.

It's still unclear whether the two incidents are connected.
