Entrepreneurs, rejoice! Haywards is back with the second season of India’s first startup reality program

If you’re an entrepreneur or harbour plans of being one, we have some good news for you. Haywards is back with the second season of India’s first startup reality program- Haywards 5000 Hauslay ki Udaan.

The program aims to support the entrepreneurial spirit of those Indians who have an innate resolve to succeed in spite of various challenges thrown at them. Apart from mentoring aspiring entrepreneurs, the program will also hand out seed funding of Rs 15 lakhs to the winning idea.

Introduced by the Haywards 5000 Hausla Buland Academy which provides online skills development courses and training through workshops, the second season of the show was complimented with their new TVC campaign aptly titled- ‘Naa se Haan Tak.’

The film highlights the challenges an aspiring entrepreneur who hails from a small town in the country faces. But, despite facing rejection from almost everyone, it’s his will and passion to fulfill his dream that turns his business idea into a reality. Thus, the film celebrates his resolve (hausla) that aids him in converting a ‘Naa’ into a ‘Haan.’

Additionally, Haywards 5000 intends to conduct auditions in Gurgaon, Faridabad, Jaipur, Pune, Nagpur, Bangalore, Secunderabad, Rohtak, Ludhiana, Amritsar and Mohali in order to let aspiring entrepreneurs showcase their innovative business ideas and their stories of unrelenting resolve. The auditions begin from July 2016, the entries for which are open now.

The participants then selected will be mentored by successful entrepreneurs and industry experts, besides Professional Counsellors from the Hausla Buland Academy.

The finalists will be selected based on a combination of factors including market opportunity, uniqueness of the idea, growth potential, strategy, enthusiasm and passion, knowledge of the industry, realistic goals, and total investment required.
