The Grevin Museum in Paris recently honoured Shah Rukh Khan with customised gold coins, making him the first Indian actor to receive this recognition at the museum.

Legion of Honour

Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the 'Legion of Honour,' one of France's highest civilian awards in 2014. He became the second Bollywood actor, after Amitabh Bachchan, to receive this prestigious accolade.

World Economic Forum's Crystal Award

Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the 24th Crystal Award at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in 2018 for his efforts in protecting human rights through his non-profit organisation, the Meer Foundation.

Five honorary doctorates

Shah Rukh Khan has received five honorary doctorates: the first from The University of Bedfordshire in 2009, the second from The University of Edinburgh in 2015, the third from Maulana Azad National Urdu University in 2016, and the latest from The London School of Law and La Trobe University in 2019.

In 2011, Shah Rukh Khan became the first Indian to win the UNESCO Pyramide con Marni Award, honouring his charitable work.

In 2014, Shah Rukh Khan was honoured with the Global Diversity Award at the State Room of Britain’s House of Commons in London for his contributions to cinema.
