On second place is Manjummel Boys, a Malayalam movie based on real events. Written and directed by Chidambaram, it's a survival thriller dubbed in many languages. It's trending on OTT and became the highest-grossing Malayalam film, earning over Rs 200 crore.

The Bollywood movie Fighter, starring Hrithik Roshan, Deepika Padukone, and Anil Kapoor, is in third place. Made with Rs 250 crore, it is the third highest-grossing Indian film and the highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.

The film Hanu-Man, directed by Prashant Varma and starring Teja Sajja, is ranked fourth in popularity. Released on January 12, it earned over Rs 350 crore, making it the second highest-grossing Telugu film of 2024.

The supernatural horror thriller Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan, and Jyotika, is in fifth place. Directed by Vikas Bahl and produced by Devgn Films, Jio Studios, and Panorama Studios, it's the fourth-highest-grossing Indian film and the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2024.
