TV actors are often seen as overexposed by filmmakers, but some have proven this wrong. They first made a mark on TV and then successfully transitioned to Bollywood, showing they’re more than capable of thriving in both worlds.

He started acting on TV with Fauji and got popular with Circus and Wagle Ki Duniya. But he had his sights set on films, so he moved to Mumbai and hit it big with movies like Deewana and DDLJ. Now, three decades later, he is the Badshah of Bollywood and proved this last year with 3 consecutive hits.

Appeared in TV shows like Chanakya, Bharat Ek Khoj, Sara Jahan Hamara, Banegi Apni Baat, and Chandrakanta. No one guessed he'd become a top film star and even make it to Hollywood. Starting with Salaam Bombay, he later starred in movies like Angrezi Medium, Hindi Medium, and Haasil.

Vidya Balan started her acting career in 1995 with the sitcom Hum Paanch, playing Radhika Mathur. She then debuted in films with the Bengali movie Bhalo Theko and the Hindi film Parineeta alongside Saif Ali Khan. Since then, she's become known for her strong portrayals of women in movies.
