Three repetitive sentences
This was used by Winston Churchill. If you want to communicate your emotion, repeat sentences. When we are emotional about something, our perspective distorts and this manifests in our speech. This is the authentic sound of passion.
Three balancing statements
It will sweep people away. This technique is used by slick salesmen and market traders. If a sentence sounds balanced, we imagine that the underlying thinking is balanced. Our brain is tuned to think like that. Balanced diets, balanced minds, balanced lives. We get attracted to these kind of sentences even if balance is just an illusion.
Metaphor
Metaphor is the most powerful piece of political communication. Our conversation is scattered with metaphors and we use metaphor once every 16 words in average. We use beautiful images to draw people towards things and we use disgusting images to make people recoil. These have enormous impact on people. Boris Johnson, Tony Blair, etc have used this time and again to make people think and change their perspective.
Exaggeration
Leaders do this kind of stuff all the time. They use exaggerative statements all the time to make their point more genuine.
Rhyme
We learn things through rhymes from the moment we are toddlers. This makes an impact in our minds and we remember it all the time.
