Meet Jennifer Lawrence's small but powerful squad that's taking over Hollywood
Amy Schumer recently became one of Lawrence's best friends and a close collaborator.
Schumer and Lawrence danced together onstage at a Billy Joel concert. The two are now writing a movie together.

Schumer had a huge year in 2015. She wrote and starred in the hit "Trainwreck," which grossed $139.3 million worldwide. In September, she signed an $8 million book deal.

Schumer is basically inseparable from her younger sister Kim Caramele, so it makes sense that she is part of the squad as well.
Lawrence bonded with her "Hunger Games" co-star Josh Hutcherson for the five years they worked on the movies together.
Her other "Hunger Games" co-star, Liam Hemsworth, is also part of that circle. The actors each received an estimated $500,000 for the first film in the series, but given its massive success, they ended up making millions more in bonuses and salary bumps for future entries.

After taking a break from music for a few years, Adele exploded back onto the scene this year with her new album "25."
The music video for breakout single "Hello" currently has over 500 million views on YouTube.
"25" has only been out for a week, but it's already smashed records. In its first three days of release, it sold 2.3 million copies, and it will sell over 3 million in its debut week. It has handily beat a record previously held by *NYSNC.
