Indian Female Politicians We Won’t Mind Seeing In Bollywood

The 42-year-old is formally not a part of Indian National Congress, but Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has always played an active role to manage the election campaigns for her brother Rahul Gandhi and mother Sonia Gandhi. A graduate from Delhi University, Priyanka has often made news for her good looks and fashion sense. It would be a welcoming change for her to join the entertainment industry and consider it as a profession. 

A lawyer by profession, the 29-year-old is the daughter of former Lok Sabha speaker PA Sangma.  Politics was in her blood and she proved it by being the youngest minister of state in the cabinet of former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh. She is an alumna of Nottingham University. Agatha can be suited for a role based around the life of a girl from North East India. Unfortunately, Priyanka Chopra has already bagged the role in Mary Kom’s biopic.

If politics is in the genes of Sangma, acting should be in the genes of Priya Dutt who the daughter of actors Nargis and Sunil Dutt. However, the lady decided to be a part of Indian National Congress, the party that her parents been associated with in later years of their lives. She has represented the Mumbai North Central constituency from 2009 to 2014. However, she lost the 2014 elections to Poonam Mahajan, with a margin of 186771 votes. It would be good to see her show off her acting genes in some upcoming movies or serials based on politics. 

Though she is not a part of any political party, but this 36-year old MBA graduate has always made news for her efforts in making her village Soda in Rajasthan a better place. An alumna of reputed institutions like Mayo College, Lady Shri Ram College and BIMM Pune, she is the sarpanch of the village Soda. Earlier, her grandfather had served the same post for 20 years. Her good looks have always been a topic of discussion, more so since she addressed the delegates at the 11th Infopoverty World Conference for United Nations.
