Pakistani Actresses That Tried Their Luck In Bollywood

This Quetta-born beauty was seen in the 1991 hit Henna, where she played the role of a Pakistani girl who falls in love with an Indian man. This role gave her an overnight recognition and she was seen in some other Indian movies as well.

The actress, though born in Pakistan, grew up in Florida, from where she came to Bollywood to try her luck in films. She was seen in around 10 Bollywood films in the 1990’s. Now she runs her own clothing line and an NGO in the USA.

Meera was born as Irtiza Rubab in Pakistan. After making her debut in Pakistani cinema, she made her Bollywood debut with the 2005 movie Nazar. The movie, however, was not a success. Later, she did some other Bollywood projects but failed to make her mark. 

Born as Zahida Malik, her journey in the field of Indian entertainment started with Bigg Boss Season 4, after which she did some low-budget Bollywood films like Daal Mein Kuch Kaala Hai, Zindagi 50-50 and Super Model.

If you remember the Indian swimmer Perizaad, who was attracted to Milkha Singh in the super hit movie Bhaag Milkha Bhaag, then you know who Meesha Shafi is. This is so far the only Bollywood project she has been a part of as of yet.

She made her presence felt in the Pakistani cinema with her role of Zainub in the critically acclaimed movie Bol. Her Bollywood debut came with the 2014 movie Raja Natwarlal opposite Emraan Hashmi. She has been garnering good response for her acting and dancing skills.
